Dosage
In adjuvant breast cancer , dose of adricin, USP is :
IV bolus on day 1 of each 21
60 day treatment cycle, with
mg/m 2 cyclophosphamide, for a total
of 4 cycles.
In metastatic disease, leukemia, or lymphoma:
60 to 75 IV every 21 days, when used as a
mg/m 2 single agent
IV every 21 to 28 days, when
40 to 75
mg/m 2 administered in combination with
other chemotherapy drugs

Cumulative doses above 550 mg/m are associated
with an increased risk of cardiomyopathy.
